Friday 12 November: 5:30 with a Master Class by Lori Wright-Amare - Modern / Jazz - Houston, Texas, USA. Ms. Amare is the Founder and Artistic Director of Second Generation Dance Company.
8:00 - Performance
Saturday 13 November:
12:00 - Workshop: Uriah Elion, Jr., composer and Manager of the Virtual Sound Lab at the SDCC; and Loris Anthony Beckles, choreographer and Artistic Director of Beckles Dancing Company - collaborators on the original music and dance work, TRUCE: Walking the Leg. TOPIC: The TRUCE Workshop I / Common languages in arts and life.
2:00 - Master Class: Nem Brito - Afro-Brazilian traditional dance - Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Mr. Brito is a former choreographer, principal dancer and Associate Artistic Director of Dance Brazil in New York. Director of the Diaspora Art Center in Brazil.

* 5:00 - Roundtable: an inter-generational exchange, including audience comments, questions, experience. Facilitator: Vicki Meek, acclaimed artist and Manager of the South Dallas Cultural Center.TOPIC: Black Dance in Dallas

Followed by a Reception on Saturday.
